Bespectacled Wolfgang Mettgenberg, takes the stand in his own defense during the war crimes trial at Nurnberg of former Nazi judges.  As representative of the Chief of the Criminal Legislation and Administration Division of the Reich Ministry of Justice, Mettgenberg directed the prosecution of criminal offenses against German occupational forces in Occupied countries.  He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
