Subject: Evangelical Church Controversy. -Lately there is an increase in cases in which ill-timed reports regarding the Evangelical Church reach the public. I therefore forbid—till further notice—all publications in the daily newspapers, in pamphlets or handbills, which are concerned with questions of the Evangelical Church, except only official announcements of the Church Government of the Reich. My edicts of 17 August 1934—III 3033/3014—and of 1 November 1934—III 7570/ 3014—are to that extent abrogated.
